Adam Prideaux is CED of Hallett Independent Ltd, a specialist art, museum and heritage insurance broker. As well as arranging insurances and settling claims for art dealers, galleries, museums, private collectors, family offices and auction houses, he also advises them on risk management strategies to maximise cover for the lowest premium, whilst reducing their administrative costs. With considerable experience in art insurance, Adam lectures regularly to museums and galleries. He has also co-authored the Guide to Museum Insurance published by the Museums, Archives and Libraries Council (MLA).
Adam started his career at Spink Fine Art in 1986 and has maintained very close contact with the art world ever since. He is passionate about museums and, as well as being a Founding Patron and member of the Hope Appeal Committee to restore the Watts Gallery, he is also a Trustee of the South London Gallery and is a patron of Tate, the Chisenhale Gallery, the Contemporary Art Society and the Showroom.
