Professional Advisors to the International Art Market (PAIAM) is a non-profit membership organisation of the world’s leading professionals advising the international art market.
Since its inception in 2011, PAIAM has exponentially grown in size and reach. Our New York Chapter launched in October 2016, and PAIAM now has as its members over 290 carefully selected experts in their respective fields. Each year, PAIAM organises and delivers several live and virtual events with a view to enhance our members’ know-how and professional development, while simultaneously allowing them to showcase their expertise, creating opportunities to network and fostering meaningful dialogue and innovation.

We provide our members frequent opportunities to meet other professionals advising the art market to foster collaboration and the exchange of ideas. Our goal is to encourage professional development, skill-building and mutual support. Through curated seminars, webinars, case studies, articles, and workshops, we provide expert insights on pressing topics such as regulatory compliance, art valuation, risk management, and sustainable collecting.

We regularly invest in organising events on both sides of the Atlantic that provide opportunities for meaningful exchange of dialogue on current topics that affect the art trade and our society at large.
