As PAIAM has grown in size and reputation, boasting an impressive international membership of over 250 top professionals, on Wednesday 26th October it launched its New York Chapter. The aim was to better service and grow its US members. Over 90 of New York’s top art market professionals were invited and attended a cocktail reception at the Sean Kelly Gallery, Chelsea, where they were afforded a private view of the Jose Dávila: Stones Don't Move exhibition whilst being introduced to the new US PAIAM board; William Charron of Pryor Cashman, Craig Davies of Rawlinson and Hunter, Steven Goldglit, Managing Partner of Goldglit and Company and Adam Green, IT Business Analyst at Christie’s and ArtTactic. This was followed by a talk by Susanne Gyorgy, Global Head, Art Advisory and Finance about the potential impact of the presidential elections on the art market.
