LAPADA Conference 2017 - invite to PAIAM members

Thursday, 23rd February | 9.30am – 5pm | House of Lords

Returning to the House of Lords, the 2017 LAPADA Conference will focus on issues of Trust & Security in the art & antiques business. In an age when the internet has become an essential point of contact between dealers and their clients, it is important to redefine the notions of trust and security in transactions. Selling online and communicating via email allows the art and antiques trade to discover new markets and clients, however it is harder to establish mutual trust and confidence between buyers and dealers. This year, six speakers have been invited to offer practical answers to these new issues, from cyber security to due diligence. Speakers include Christopher Marinello (Art Recovery Group), Dan Sloshberg (Cyber Resiliency Expert), Philip James & Danielle Spiers (Sheridans), Craig Davies (Rawlinson & Hunter) and Toma Clark Haines.
