PAIAM - New York Chapter- Launch Event

AN EVENING AT SEAN KELLY GALLERY
475 Tenth Avenue, New York, NY 10018
Wednesday October 26th, 6.30pm – 8.30pm

PAIAM will be opening a New York Chapter and members of the UK Board, together with a newly appointed US Board, hosted the inaugural event at Sean Kelly on Wednesday October 26th with a private view of Jose Dàvila’s, Stones Don’t Move. All PAIAM members were invited to attend.

This Chapter will run regular events similar to those offered in London and should allow members on both sides of the Atlantic to enhance their knowledge and grow their network of like-minded professionals internationally.

The evening included an interesting talk on the impending Presidential election and the impact that might have for the Art Market from Suzanne Gyorgy, Global Head, Art Advisory & Finance at Citi as well as providing an opportunity for networking.

PAIAM is grateful to Sean Kelly for hosting the event. Founded in 1991, Sean Kelly has established a reputation for diverse, intellectually driven, unconventional exhibitions and a commitment to important, challenging contemporary art. In 2012, Sean Kelly moved from Chelsea to a 22,000 square foot space at 475 Tenth Avenue in a historic 1914 building, enabling the Gallery to mount increasingly ambitious, museum-quality exhibitions to great critical acclaim. The Gallery’s roster of artists includes such notable figures as Marina Abramovi?, Joseph Kosuth, Antony Gormley, the estate of Robert Mapplethorpe, and Kehinde Wiley.

The event was sponsored by Rawlinson & Hunter, Goldglit & Company LLP and Pryor Cashman LLP
