‘Managing the Artist’s Legacy’ - an invitation to PAIAM members to join workshop

A day-long workshop presented by the Royal Academy of Arts
Monday 30 January 2017
Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly, London
10am – 5pm

This day-long workshop was designed to help artists, their family and advisors plan for a successful legacy.  Drawing from practical experience, recognised experts and leaders in the field of artist’s estate management presented strategies for preserving, promoting and enhancing an artist’s legacy. The workshop used practical, real life examples to demonstrate the value of careful planning and implementation.  The panel of speakers included several PAIAM members.  Pierre Valentin, who co-led the workshop with Dr Anna Dempster, Head of Academic Programmes at the Royal Academy, said: 'The day was a great opportunity to showcase the range of skills and experience of PAIAM members in the field of artists' estates.  With the continued support of the Royal Academy, we hope to continue to offer education and support to artists, family members and advisors'.
